About

The mission of the Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec is to promote sound and safe pharmacy practices, in particular to ensure the protection of the public. The Ordre oversees all activities related to the pharmacy profession. Among other things, it issues licences, guides pharmacists, handles complaints from the public, and intervenes to control illegal pharmacy activities.

Our team was tasked with creating a communication tool to promote a training program on Bill 41, which allows pharmacists to take on new functions related to medical prescriptions. These new activities, which include modifying prescriptions written by physicians, prescribing and interpreting certain laboratory tests, and issuing prescriptions for minor ailments, come with a host of regulations that require the pharmacists affected by this law to be informed and made aware.

Using motion design, that is, animated design, we helped the Ordre reach its members to promote the training offered to them following the coming into force of Bill 41. This communication tool, created entirely by our art director and our graphic designer, should also inform pharmacists about the limits of the new regulations surrounding their profession.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE TRAINING

This training is designed to help pharmacists fully understand the new reserved activities provided for under Bill 41. Regulatory, ethical and procedural aspects are all covered in this training, which is offered in a self-study format, meaning it can be taken whenever it suits each member.
